What can you expect?
No other part of Amsterdam is as popular with tourists as the Red-Light District, and yet very few people are aware of the structures and secrets that lie behind the scenes of Europe’s largest “sex paradise”.
On this exclusive experience, you’ll begin with an informative tour through Amsterdam’s famous Red-Light District. Exploring the iconic streets and historic squares of De Wallen in an intimate group setting, you’ll gain fascinating insights into the history, development, and daily life of the area, with plenty of opportunity to ask questions.
After the tour, you’ll head to ‘Het Karbeel’, a cosy restaurant right in the heart of the Red-Light District, for a relaxing finale. There, you’ll be treated to a classic cheese fondue with Gruyère, Emmental and Bleu d’Auvergne, served with fresh bread, crispy potato wedges and crunchy vegetables for dipping. For dessert, a ‘Dame Blanche’ is served with vanilla ice cream, warm chocolate sauce and whipped cream.
Especially in the cooler autumn and winter months, the dinner is the perfect way to unwind after a busy day. You can warm up and ease into the evening in total comfort, without the hassle of searching for a restaurant in the cold.
