What can you expect on the Scavenger Hunt through the Centre of Amsterdam?

Explore Amsterdam’s city centre in a fun and interactive way with your colleagues, school class, or friends.

Our entertaining, educational, and exciting scavenger hunt is the perfect alternative to a classic city tour and guarantees a unique experience and fun for everyone.

While we love sharing fascinating stories and hidden gems about our favourite city, your guide will only give you a short introduction at the meeting point. After that, the adventure is in your hands! For the next 2 hours, you’ll work together as a team, solve challenges, and discover Amsterdam in your own way. And don’t worry, your guide is never far away if you need a little help. But the rest is up to your clever minds!

Depending on the size of your group, you’ll split into two, three, or four teams.

With your first route description in hand, you’ll set off towards the first of six exciting stations. There, your first challenge and the directions to the next stop will be waiting for you.

Mobile phones are only allowed for taking souvenir photos. However, you’re encouraged to interact with locals and get their help finding answers to the questions about Amsterdam’s unique history and culture!

Who will be the lucky winner?

Have you followed all the signposts and completed all six challenges? Then make your way back to the meeting point, where your whole group will come together again. Your guide will be waiting for you to check your answers and reveal the winning team. The group that completed the most tasks in the shortest time.

In the end, of course, everyone is a winner, because you’ll leave with lots of new and exciting facts about Amsterdam!
